Privacy Policy

With effect from 1 April 2026

EdgeTech Consults Ltd("Logical", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit logicalpro.io, create an account, or use the Logicalplatform (the "Service").

1. Roles under data protection law

For account, billing, and marketing data relating to decision-makers who sign up for Logical, we act as data controller. For operational data that your organisation uploads about employees, drivers, clients, and counterparties, you are typically the data controller and we act as data processor, processing data only on your documented instructions and in line with our Terms of Service.

2. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • Account data: name, work email, phone, company, role, authentication logs, and preferences.
  • Operational data: orders, consignments, warehouse activity, fleet assignments, documents, and messages you or your users submit.
  • Biometric data:where the Fleet & Verification module is enabled, facial images may be converted to mathematical templates for identity checks at pickup (special category data under GDPR Article 9).
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, audit logs, and security events.
  • Billing data: subscription status and payment references processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).

3. Purposes and lawful bases

We process personal data to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service (contract; legitimate interests);
  • secure accounts and prevent fraud (legitimate interests; legal obligation);
  • bill subscriptions and comply with tax law (contract; legal obligation);
  • respond to support requests (contract; legitimate interests);
  • send service announcements and, where permitted, product updates (contract; consent or legitimate interests);
  • process biometric verification where you enable it (explicit consent obtained by you as controller, or other lawful basis permitted locally).

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights. You may object to certain processing as described in Section 10.

4. Biometric data

Biometric features are optional. You must obtain clear, informed consent from each driver or staff member before enrollment and provide any notices required in your jurisdiction. Templates are used only for identity verification at operational checkpoints, stored with access controls, and not sold to third parties. You may disable the feature and request deletion subject to retention limits.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. Analytics, if enabled, help us understand product usage in aggregated form. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without essential cookies.

6. Sharing and subprocessors

We share personal data with infrastructure, email, payment, and support providers that help us operate the Service, under contracts that require appropriate security and confidentiality. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. A current subprocessor list is available on request at privacy@logicalpro.io.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, Kenya, and other countries where our providers operate. Where personal data is transferred outside adequate jurisdictions, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures consistent with GDPR Chapter V.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 principles, including encryption in transit, role-based access control, tenant isolation, logging, backup procedures, and vulnerability management. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your credentials.

9. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Tenant administrators may request export or deletion of organisation data; some records (for example audit and billing logs) may be retained for compliance periods after deletion.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. UK and EEA residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. To exercise rights relating to data we control, contact privacy@logicalpro.io. For data your organisation controls in the Service, contact your tenant administrator first.

11. Children

The Service is intended for business users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Automated decision-making

Logical may rank orders, suggest routes, or surface operational insights. These features support human decision-making and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects without human review unless you configure otherwise.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email before they take effect. The current version is published at logicalpro.io/legal/privacy.
